To Remove Split Ends
- Take small sections of hair and carefully twist them in a gentle downward motion.
- Any split ends will automatically stick out
- arefully snip into the twist with sharp scissors. Do not cut right through; just cut into the thickness to remove the damaged cuticles and give a natural layered effect.
- Be careful to cut roughly the same amount from each twist
Preventing Split Ends
- It is best to use a wide tooth comb if your hair is vulnerable to splitting.
- If possible allow hair to dry naturally. You can use dryer once a while.
- Minimize tangling. There is detangle spray available in the store. Another way is using conditioner.
- If you are using hair color take caution with chemicals. They can make your hair weak and cause split ends.
