Cinnabon's first cafe' in Pakistan

Cinnabon's first cafe' in Pakistan was recently opened on Mian Mehmood Ali Kasoori Road in Lahore amidst much excitement. Celebrities, models, socialites, designers andpeople from all walks of life attended the launch and couldn't get enough of the delicious cinnabons and drinks. The Chillatas, minibons, cinnabon classic and caramel pecanbon are to die for. The cafe' also serves sandwiches and has other delicacies on the menu. The event was managed by J&S.

Bio Natural Black Shine Carnival De Couture

The much awaited Bio Natural Black Shine Carnival De Couture recently took place in Lahore in order to raise funds for the Teachers Resource Centre (TRC). Models from Pakistan, India and Dubai walked the ramp wearing Tarun Tahiliani, Malini Ramani and Umar Sayeed’s couture.

The show was choreographed and produced by The House of HSY and their co-ordination was also joined by Ms. Lubna Adam from Mumbai. The Hair and Makeup of the models on the ramp was taken over by Tariq Amin’s team of stylists. This grand event was put together by none other than J&S.

Launch of World Fashion Cafe

World Fashion Café was inaugurated on the 11th of April 2010, in Gulberg 3 Lahore, Pakistan. World Fashion Café was brought to Pakistan by Amir Hussain.

World Fashion Café’ was recently launched amidst celebrities, fashionistas and socialites. At the launch WFC proudly presented Dernier Cri by Uzma Rao & Aamir Hussain, its own designer label. Hair, Makeup and Styling for the show was done by Ather Shahzad and Rezz Aly Shah did the choreography. Great music, food, clothes and ambiance made the evening a memorable one.

The inauguration took place on April 17 and was attended by His Excellency the Ambassador of Pakistan to the UAE, Khurshid Junejo, who was invited to cut a ribbon to mark the official occasion.17 designers will be showcasing their latest collections in this permanent section at Studio 8, adding to the already diverse mix of brands and attracting a new audience of customers to the store. Sara Shahid of Sublime recently launched her label Sublime by Sara at multi brand boutique Labels where socialites, fellow designers, fashionistas and media attended the event. Pieces from the latest "Colour Me Sublime" collection which made its debut at the PFDC Sunsilk Fashion Week was launched. This collection signified the designers desire to break free from the past and to celebrate a new decade a wish for a change, a need to bring back the colour to life. Premiere of the “Knorr Quest for the Noodle Pot

The Premiere of the animated Knorr Quest series for the Golden Noodle Pot was held in collaboration with Shehzad Roy’s Zindagi Trust at the SMB Fatima Jinnah School.
This includes singer/actor/comedian Khaled Anam, renowned Pakistani actress Sania Saeed, acclaimed actress Arjumand Rahim, comedian Faisal Qureshi and comedian and actor Adeel Hashmi. The event was also attended by Shehzad Roy himself and over 2000 children from his school. It is the first time that an all-star celebrity cast have given their voices to an animated cartoon series.

Five Fashion Weeks in Pakistan: 2010

As many as five fashion weeks would be held in the country this year, a decision to this effect has been taken owing to the success of November 2009 Fashion Week.
Pakistan Fashion Council has announced to hold two fashion weeks per year in Pakistan, while a private company would hold one fashion week in Karachi. The first fashion week of this year would start from January 31 to February 3, while the 2nd fashion week would start from February 16 to February 20. According to Karachi Fashion Council, the third fashion week would be held in the first week of March, while the venue for the fourth and fifth fashion week has not been finalized yet.

Another Motifz outlet

Sania & Hassan launched the first flasgship store of Motifz with a bang in DHA. This is their fifth outlet in pakistan and first to carry Motifz Pret & Motifz Home.
Mrs Governer Begum Aamna Taseer was the chief guest at the event. Launch was successfully managed by Savvy PR & Events.
