Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik Wedding Ceremony

The celebrity wedding between Indian tennis star Sania Mirza and Pakistani crickter Shoaib Malik marriage was held a posh hotel Taj Krishna in Hyderabad, India around 1:00 p.m on Monday 12th April 2010 , the wedding was conducted as per Muslim religious customs and traditions. The nikah was performed in the presence of a select gathering comprising only the close relative of the Mirza family members and Shoaib’s relatives including his sisters and brothers-in-law. Hundreds of people gathered in front of Sania Mirza’s posh residence at Jubilee Hills to get a glimpse of Sania dressed as a bride. Sania Mirza, wearing a red saree, came out of the house and then went to the hotel. She was accompanied by her parents, Imran Mirza and Naseema Mirza and sister Anam Mirza.

The marriage between Sania Mirza and Shoaib Malik hit a huge snag last week requiring the couple to address issues and push back the ceremony date. Originally, the marriage was to take place on April 15 although stories on the re-scheduling of the marriage kept coming in the media. ‘Mehendi’ is scheduled for April 13, Sangeet on April 14 and reception will be held on April 15 as scheduled.
